Anders Lanzen

Anders Lanzen has a diverse background in microbiology, bioinformatics, and engineering biology, holding a PhD from the University of Bergen focused on environmental genomics and next-generation sequencing. Professional experience includes a postdoctoral project at Neiker-Tecnalia examining climate change impacts on soil ecosystems, and roles such as a temporary associate at Uni Research and researcher at the Computational Biology Unit in Bergen. Currently, Anders serves as an IKERBASQUE research associate professor at AZTI and as a senior scientist. Educational credentials include degrees in Molecular Biology from UNSW, Software Engineering from The University of Queensland, a PhD from the University of Bergen, and an MSc in Engineering Biology from Linköping University.
