Robert Turner has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. ROBERT began their career in the US Army as a Telecommunications Specialist from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they worked in the LA National Guard as a Communications Specialist from 1996 to 1999. In 2001, they joined McLeodUSA as a Site Survey Engineer for a year. From 2002 to 2008, they worked at the California Public Utilities Commission as a Utilities Engineer, primarily focusing on electricity and natural gas utility infrastructure inspection, auditing, and investigation. In 2008, they joined SLB as a Senior Technical Sales Representative and remained in that role till 2014.
The majority of their experience lies with Alfa Laval, where they held several roles. ROBERT started as a Global Service Manager for Drilling Technologies from 2014 to 2017 and later became a Global Service Portfolio Manager from 2017 to 2018. ROBERT then worked as a Product Expert from 2017 to 2022, followed by a role as a Special Projects Coordinator from 2018 to 2022. Lastly, they held the position of a Program Manager Warranty Claims from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Fabrication Sales Lead at IKG since July 2023.
Robert Turner completed their Bachelor's of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2000. Prior to that, they attended Hanson Memorial HS from 1986 to 1987 and Sacred Heart High School from 1983 to 1986. In addition, they hold several certifications including a Project Management Support Certificate from Alfa Laval in 2021, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Alfa Laval in 2019, and a Training the Trainer certification from Alfa Laval in 2018, among others. ROBERT also obtained an IFE - Integrated Fluids Engineer certification from M-I SWACO, a Schlumberger Co. in 2012.
