Jae Sim

Jae Sim is the current Director of Engineering at Ikigailabs. Prior to this, Jae worked as the Director of Engineering, Software Engineering Manager, and Software Engineer at Ikigai for 3 years and 6 months. Before that, Jae served in the US Army for 6 years and 4 months as a CBRN Squad Leader and CBRN Specialist. Jae has also worked as a Data Engineer at Celect, Inc. and as a Data Science Researcher at the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory.

Jae Sim has a University of California, Berkeley BA in Computer Science from 2014-2016 and a BA in Statistics from 2014-2016. They also have an education from Santa Monica College from 2012-2014. Additionally, they have a Introductory Sommelier Course from the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas and are both a Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation.

Jae Sim's team is responsible for the engineering and development of the company's products and services. They work closely with other teams in the company, such as the product team, to ensure that the products they develop are of the highest quality and meet the needs of the company's customers.
