Diane Smith possesses extensive experience in administrative management and writing, currently serving as the Administrative Services Manager for the Ironton-Lawrence County Area Community Action Organization since April 2018. Responsibilities include assisting the Directors of Operations and Clinical Services, managing policy documentation, and helping with grant applications. As a Freelance Writer since October 2011, Diane has conducted interviews and written articles, additionally holding the role of lead writer and managing editor for Southern Journal Magazine. Previous positions include Administrative Associate at the University of Georgia and Assistant to the Director at Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary, where significant accomplishments included implementing fundraising initiatives and managing public relations. Diane's earlier work involved executive support and grant management at the Southern States Police Benevolent Association. Diane holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Business from Shawnee State University.
