Francesco Como

Francesco Como has extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at iliad since March 2018. In this role, Francesco leads a team of over 60 professionals across various domains, including UX/UI Design, DevOps, and Mobile, while overseeing the development of cloud-native applications on a Kubernetes infrastructure. Previous positions include Head of Software and Data Engineering and Software Engineering Manager, where Francesco was responsible for guiding multiple engineering teams and establishing high-quality software development practices. Prior to joining iliad, Francesco held software development and IT operations roles at companies such as Fastweb, Vodafone, and NiceNet.it, and possesses a diverse technical skill set in modern programming languages and technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and various database systems.
