iLindy is an online school and global community dedicated to Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, and the living legacy of Black American jazz dance.

Launched in 2016, iLindy began as one of the first comprehensive platforms for learning Lindy Hop online. What started as a pioneering digital project has grown into an international hub for dancers seeking expert instruction, cultural context, and inspiration. Today, iLindy is a multi-teacher platform featuring diverse voices and styles, reflecting the richness of the jazz dance tradition.

At iLindy, we believe dancing is more than memorizing steps: it’s about rhythm, connection, improvisation, and self-expression. It’s about training the body, mind, and spirit to move with confidence while honoring the cultural roots of the art form.

We offer structured programs, solo drills, partner techniques, guided learning pathways, and live classes that connect students with instructors and with one another. Alongside technical training, we emphasize history, context, and ethics, because we know that jazz dance can only thrive when its past is respected and its communities are nurtured.

With students in more than 60 countries, iLindy continues to make high-quality dance education accessible to anyone, anywhere. Whether you want to refine your fundamentals, explore your musicality, expand your improvisation, or develop as a teacher, you’ll find resources, inspiration, and community at iLindy.

Our mission: To keep jazz dance alive, accessible, and evolving, celebrating its history while empowering the next generation of dancers to create, connect, and carry the joy forward.
