Bart van Es is a Data Engineering Consultant at ilionx, currently building a new Lakehouse platform for the Sociale Verzekeringsbank using Azure technologies. Previously, they served as a Data Engineer at Evangelische Omroep, where they developed a central data platform in Microsoft Azure, and worked as a Data Analyst at DICTU. Bart has a diverse educational background, holding multiple degrees, including an MA in Journalism and a Business and Data Analytics certification from Hogeschool van Amsterdam. With years of experience in both data engineering and journalism, Bart combines analytical skills with a strong storytelling approach.
