Jared Gerritzen has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Jared started their career at Microsoft as a Graphic Designer in 1997 before moving to Surreal Software in 1999, where they worked as a concept artist, 2D artist, FX artist, and Level Designer. In 2003, Gerritzen joined Monolith Productions as a Level Designer before transitioning to Zombie Studios in 2006, where they served as the Lead Designer and later became the Creative Studio Head.
In 2014, they joined Major League Gaming as the Vice President of Industry Relations and continued in this role until 2016. Gerritzen then worked as the Senior Director of Industry Relations at Activision from 2015 to 2016, and as the Global Esport Director at Razer Inc. from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, they have been a part of IllFonic as the CCO and Creative Director. Throughout their career, Gerritzen has also shared their expertise as a 3D Art instructor at Seattle Central College from 2004 to 2008.
Jared Gerritzen attended the Seattle Art Institute from 1995 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Art with a specialization in Graphic Design.
