Avery Martin is a student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a degree from 2021 to 2025. Avery has developed strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills through a diverse range of experiences, including serving as the Director of Alumni Relations for IlliniThon and Vice President of Risk Management for Alpha Xi Delta. Avery has also worked as a Research Assistant, where they analyzed rhetorical history related to reparations, and gained practical experience through internships with Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski and the Democratic National Committee. In addition, Avery has been involved in coaching youth baseball and softball, as well as working as a Special Education Teaching Assistant, showcasing their commitment to community involvement.
