Clément Scherding is a Lead Data Scientist at ILLUIN Technology, where they focus on developing cutting-edge technological solutions with an emphasis on artificial intelligence. Previously, Clément worked as an Underwriting Data Scientist at Descartes Underwriting and as an Aerodynamic Engineer at Safran from 2017 to 2020. Clément completed a PhD at CNRS, in collaboration with Imperial College, where they developed adaptive AI models for high-dimensional nonlinear functions, significantly improving computational efficiency for hypersonic flow simulations. They also served as a Research Assistant at Penn State University and a Software Engineer at ONERA. Clément holds a Master's degree in Engineering from École Centrale de Lyon and a Master of Engineering in Aerospace from Penn State University.
