John Griffin

John Griffin's work experience is as follows:

1. Senior Software Engineer at illumin (AcuityAds Inc.) since August 2018 (current position).

2. Software Engineer at Avaya from March 2015 to June 2018. During this role, they were the team's Subject Matter Expert in Gigaspaces XAP In-Memory Data Grid platform. John contributed to system design, code reviews, and various testing activities. John also maintained, extended, and refactored the existing codebase. Technologies used include Java, Spring, Maven, Gigaspaces, XAP, Hibernate, Websphere, Postgres, JUnit, JMeter, Git, Eclipse, and Javascript. John worked on projects such as Oceana Workspaces, a large-scale multi-channel contact center customer engagement application.

3. Software Engineer at Dairymaster from January 2013 to March 2015. In this role, they designed and implemented C# and RESTful APIs. John also contributed to the AngularJS frontend client and developed a native Android application. Technologies used include Java, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Android, AngularJS, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, SQS, S3, SES, RDS (MySQL), DynamoDB, Elasticache (Memcached), NFC (ISO 15693), Firebase, EventBus, Retrofit, Telerik, Highcharts, and Git. John worked on projects such as MooMonitor+, an IoT and cloud-based analytics system for monitoring bovine herds' behaviors.

John Griffin attended Munster Technological University from 2009 to 2013. John pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing with Software Development, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
