Ken Porter has over a decade of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Ken is currently the Director of Quality, Production Support, and Special Projects at AcuityAds Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Quality Engineering at ApplyBoard, where they introduced quality principles, automation testing, and incident management to integrate quality into agile teams. Ken also managed the development of automated AI-based regression testing.

Before ApplyBoard, Ken was the Director of Enterprise Testing Services at Rogers Communications, where they managed eight testing teams and introduced key elements of Quality Engineering. Ken successfully merged the UAT testing organization into the central testing organization and decreased defect leakage.

Ken also served as the Program Testing Director at Fidelitex @ Cogeco Connexion, where they managed the testing of a new Compass BSS platform. At Ericsson, they worked as a Project Manager, responsible for developing and implementing release schedules and leading automation testing activities.

Additionally, Ken has experience as a Defect Manager at both Rogers Communications and Amdocs, where they defined defect management processes and resolved critical issues. Ken began their career as a Project Coordinator at TELUS, where they managed the implementation of a CRTC regulation. Overall, Ken has a strong background in quality engineering, testing, and project management.

Ken Porter attended Seneca College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Technical Diploma in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
