Bassem Basir

Bassem Basir is the Country Manager for Illumina in Egypt, where they have been leading since 2022. With over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, market access, and business development within the pharmaceutical industry, Bassem has held senior leadership roles in multinational companies across the MENA region, managing substantial business operations. Previously, Bassem served as the Commercial Director for Biological E. Limited and led the Vaccines Business Unit at GSK, overseeing teams and strategies across various countries. Bassem holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Leicester and a BSc in Pharmacy from Cairo University.
