Benjamin Brown

Benjamin Brown is a Staff Software Engineer at Illumina, where they focus on the architecture of the DNA primary analysis pipeline for next-generation genomic sequencers. Prior to this role, they worked at Microsoft from 2018 to 2020, contributing to the Azure security forensics pipeline and developing visualization paradigms for security data, among other projects. Benjamin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science from the University of Washington. Additionally, they have experience as a Creative Technologist at Viacom and have held various engineering roles across multiple companies, including Apple and Intuit.
