Gary Workman

Gary Workman currently serves as Vice President of Global Quality and Compliance at Illumina since October 2014. Prior to this role, Gary was an Executive Consultant from June 2014 to October 2015, advising companies on various sectors including technology and medical science. Gary's previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Quality at Bloom Energy, where responsibilities involved developing the company's global quality operations and culture. Gary has also held positions such as General Manager at New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. and Toyota, overseeing quality and operations, and contributed as a member of the Company Advisory Board at Willow Garage. Earlier in Gary's career, significant achievements included roles as Engineer and Production Manager at Federal Mogul Corporation, which led to prestigious awards in quality excellence. Gary holds a Master of Science in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
