John Rowen

John Rowen is a seasoned informatics systems engineer with over 20 years of experience in various technical roles. Since May 2011, John has held multiple positions at Illumina, including Staff Informatics Systems Engineer and Sr. Informatics Systems Engineer, after serving as a Network Systems Administrator. Prior to Illumina, John worked at UCSD/Bioengineering from July 2005 to April 2011 as a Programmer/Analyst III and II. John also gained experience as a Programmer Analyst at UCSF - CVRI from 2002 to 2004 and as a User Support Supervisor at Red Herring Communications between 2000 and 2002. John completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at UC San Diego from 1989 to 1991.
