Limei Chen

Limei Chen is currently a Senior Engineer in Process Development at Illumina since August 2022. Prior experience includes a Researcher position at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on thin film deposition using atomic layer deposition, and a Research Assistant role at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where activities spanned the maintenance of advanced microscopy equipment and the design of nanostructures for enhanced electrochemical applications. Limei Chen also contributed to the development of electrochemical biosensors for HIV detection and served as a Teaching Assistant, mentoring undergraduate students in chemistry labs and research. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Shandong University.
