Tom Chia

Tom Chia is a versatile electrical engineer with a wealth of experience spanning from research and development to manufacturing in the medical device and semiconductor capital equipment sectors. Currently, they serve as a Senior Electrical Engineer in Lifecycle Management at Illumina, where they focus on innovative solutions for electronic systems. Previously, Tom held key roles at various esteemed organizations, including Varian Medical Systems, BD, and Nordson TEST & INSPECTION, where they led significant projects in electrical engineering, advancing product development and compliance with safety standards. Tom is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Cal Poly Pomona and has furthered their education at UCSC Extension.
