Xiaoyu

Xiaoyu Ma is currently a Staff Scientist at Illumina, where they utilize their expertise in materials science and molecular biology to innovate sequencing platform technologies. Xiaoyu previously held the positions of Scientist 2 and Scientist 1 at Illumina, contributing to multiple patents in the field. They also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, focusing on high-throughput screening immunoassays. Earlier in their career, Xiaoyu completed an R&D internship at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, working on exploratory projects in various business groups. They earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Northwest A&F University.
