Yi Yang

Yi Yang is a Staff Scientist/Engineer at Illumina, specializing in chemical and enzymatic process characterization and optimization. They have held multiple roles at Illumina, including Staff System Integration Engineer and Senior Scientist. Prior to this, Yi served as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from 2015 to 2018. They earned a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the National University of Singapore in 2015 and an MBA with First-Class honors from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2023.
