Michael Smith

Michael Smith is a Principal at Illuminate, a position held since 2016, following the merger of Illuminate with Vanguard Lighting in 2017 and Omni Lite in 2021. Prior to this role, Michael worked in various sales capacities, including Distributor Sales and Director of Contractor and Distributor Sales at Vanguard in Connecticut from 2007 to 2014, and within the lighting industry at Yusen Associates from 2004 to 2007. Michael began their career in sales at Lite World from 1994 to 2004. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Policy Studies and Marketing from Syracuse University and an MBA from Suffolk University's Sawyer School of Management.
