Rob Moir is an accomplished environmental leader with a diverse background in education, conservation, and community engagement. As a Contributor/Author for illuminem since November 2022, Rob has also served as the Executive Director of the Ocean River Institute since February 2007, focusing on environmental stewardship and education. As the Founding Chairperson of Ocean Champions, Rob played a pivotal role in establishing the organization and remains an active board member. Previous experience includes consulting for the Ocean Conservancy, representing the Advisory Council at the Boston Harbor Islands NPS Partnership, and curatorial work at the Peabody Essex Museum. Rob holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England and has a strong foundation in natural sciences and environmental management.
