Kirin Sinha

CEO at Illumix

Kirin Sinha is the CEO of Illumix, a company that specializes in data analytics. Before Illumix, Sinha was an undergraduate researcher at MIT Department of Mathematics, where they researched hydrodynamic quantum analogs with professor John Bush. Later, Sinha founded SHINE for Girls, a nonprofit that helps middle school girls understand and appreciate mathematics through a 10-week program that incorporates math and dance. Under Sinha's leadership, SHINE for Girls has grown into a national organization with programs in six different states. Sinha has also presented techniques used to engage young women in STEM at CyberMaryland (National Cybersecurity Conference) and the CiscoLive Annual Conference.

Kirin Sinha has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a Master's Degree in Risk and Stochastics with a focus in Machine Learning from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Master's Degree in Mathematics from University of Cambridge. Kirin also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Theoretical Math and Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
