Margaret Sharp

Senior Consultant

Margaret Sharp is an experienced educator with a strong focus on mathematics instruction and equity in education. From August 2021 to June 2023, Margaret served as the District Math Coach and Initiative Support Coordinator at Sequoia Union High School District, where the role was designed to enhance equitable access and student engagement in rigorous mathematics through teacher coaching and curriculum development. Previously, Margaret taught Algebra I and Algebra II/Trigonometry, integrating social justice topics into the curriculum. Additional roles include leading the Algebra I Initiative Team and serving as Summer School Principal, where Margaret managed various administrative and instructional responsibilities. Prior experience also includes a mathematics teaching position at Mundelein High School District 120, focusing on alternative assessments and cross-curricular collaboration. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from Stanford University.
