Anna Verhoeve is a Senior Researcher in Rural Development at ILVO, where they focus on rural change processes and spatial quality. They completed their doctoral research that examined the dynamics impacting rural areas in urbanized regions of Western Europe. Previously, Anna worked as a staff member at Regionaal Landschap Meetjesland, conducting scientific studies for tourism projects, and at West-Vlaamse Intercommunale, where they coordinated various rural economy initiatives. Anna earned a Master's degree in Geography and a subsequent Master's in Spatial Planning from Universiteit Gent.
