Elien Dewitte is a qualified professional with a Master of Science in Biology from KU Leuven, obtained in 2007. Elien has extensive experience in data management, currently serving as a Datamanager at the Instituut voor Landbouw, Visserij- en Voedingsonderzoek (ILVO) since July 2021. Prior to this role, Elien worked at the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ) from January 2009 to July 2021 as a Science Officer in the Datacentre and as an assistant librarian. In addition to these positions, Elien has been actively engaged as a Kindergrimeur with grimElien since October 2023, specializing in transforming children into their favorite characters and providing glitter tattoos.
