Matti Herlevi

Matti Herlevi has a significant and diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Matti'smost recent position is as a Key Account Manager at IMA Engineering since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at IMA Engineering Ltd Oy from March 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining IMA Engineering Ltd Oy, Matti was a Partner and CEO of Deventec International Ltd from March 2008 to October 2020. In this role, they assisted small and medium-sized enterprises in southern Finland and international markets in various areas such as strategic goal setting, HR challenges, market studies, and business planning.

In 2013, Matti joined Posintra Oy as a Development Manager. During their five years with the company, they managed regional and international development projects and provided advice to existing enterprises and startup entrepreneurs. Matti was responsible for initiating new development programs, developing analysis tools, and business information mapping methods. Additionally, they led a project to develop a new business model and network for local metal fabrication companies in the Itä-Uusimaa region, which resulted in notable growth and increased employment.

Matti also served as a Partner at Metal Slag Service Finland Oy from December 2010 to October 2014, where they focused on providing steel slag recycling and waste management services to Southeast Asia markets.

Earlier in their career, Matti held the position of Vice President at Lamor Technics Oy from 2006 to 2008 and General Manager of OS&A at GE Healthcare from 2004 to 2006. Matti also worked at Instrumentarium, Alnor for a significant part of their career, holding various management and leadership positions from 1983 to 2003.

Overall, Matti Herlevi has a strong background in management, business development, and advisory roles, particularly in the areas of strategic planning, project management, and international markets.

Matti Herlevi completed their education at the University of Eastern Finland from 1977 to 1985, where they earned their MSc in Medical Physics.
