Ville Hakala

Ville Hakala has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Ville started their career in 2006 as a Research Engineer at Metso Minerals Italy, where they worked until 2008. In 2008, they joined Mine On-Line Service as a Project Manager until 2011. In 2009, they also briefly worked as a Sales Manager at Sofimation Oy.

In 2009, Ville Hakala became the President of Sofimine Oy, a position they held until 2011. During this time, they also served as the CEO of Sofimation and held the position of VP of Sales & Marketing at Sofi Filtration from 2011 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2022, Ville Hakala was the CEO of Sofi Filtration. Ville then transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer from October 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Sales & Marketing at IMA Engineering, starting in March 2023.

Ville Hakala obtained their Master of Science degree in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology, where they studied from 1999 to 2005.
