Stanley Balu

Stanley Balu has over 12 years of experience in matchmove and layout within the VFX industry. They began their career as a BG Prep Apprentice at Rhythm & Hues in 2008 and worked as a Matchmove and Rotomation Artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks, contributing to notable projects such as "Watchmen" and "Alice in Wonderland." Stanley later held various positions at Double Negative and DNEG, including Body Tracking Supervisor and Head of Bodytrack, before becoming Matchmove Lead at Image Engine Design Inc. Stanley actively participates in discussions on emerging technologies and shot methodology, and possesses skills in Python scripting to facilitate collaboration with development teams. They hold a Bachelor of Computer Application degree in Computer Science from Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College.
