Barry McManus

Barry McManus serves as the Vice President of Sound Products at Image-Line Software, beginning in June 2023. Prior to this role, McManus was the Product Director at Native Instruments from March 2018 to January 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the Sounds Products division and leading the Sound Design team. Significant contributions included managing the Kontakt Play Series and expanding product lines for Maschine and Massive X. McManus co-founded and directed the London Electronic Music Event Ltd, an industry-focused electronic music conference, and held the General Manager position at Sample Magic, where a successful growth phase culminated in acquisition by Splice. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Partnerships for the Bloc Weekender festival and consulting for Attack Magazine. McManus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Goldsmiths, University of London, earned in 2009.
