Carl Moore

Carl Moore began their career in 2008 as a PhD Researcher at the University of Salford, working on approaches to distributing and processing video for a world-class real-time 3D telepresence. From 2013 to 2015, they held two positions, first as a Software Engineer at 4Sight Imaging, an imaging science company whose machine learning technology is used in a variety of fields, and then as an Image Segmentation Specialist at Poikos, a company producing an application which fits a 3D body to segmented silhouettes of a person obtained from web cameras or smartphones. In 2015, Carl Moore became a Research Engineer at Image Metrics.

Carl Moore completed their PhD in Virtual Reality, Real-time, Distributed Systems from The University of Salford in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Databases and Web Based Systems degree from The University of Salford in 2008. Carl also obtained a Software Development degree from The University of Bolton in 2007. In addition, they earned a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016.
