Dean Bitan has extensive experience in the field of business, technology, and product development. Dean began their career in 2010 as a Product Manager for the Israel Defense Forces. In 2012, they were promoted to Project Manager and Head of Department. In 2014, they co-founded Ping and in 2015, they were appointed Mobility Project Lead and Head of Chief Programmer Department at the C4I and Cyber Security Directorate of the IDF. In 2016, they co-founded Appload Software Solutions Ltd. and in 2017, they were Development Manager at Chatway. In 2018, they took on the role of Head of Product at GeneSort and in 2019, they were VP R&D at AID Genomics. In 2020, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at Imagene and in 2022, they became an Official Member and Contributor of Forbes Business Council.
Dean Bitan completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, majoring in information systems, from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2006 to 2010. Dean then attended The Open University of Israel from 2003 to 2005 for computer science studies. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration from Tel Aviv University's Recanati Business School, specializing in Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, from 2013 to 2015.
