John Dillon

John Dillon is an experienced FX Animator and Storyboard Artist with a diverse background in animation. Currently at Film Roman since August 2013, John specializes in FX design and full FX animation for "The Simpsons." John also serves as a Partner at Whatnot Entertainment, contributing as a director and creative partner to optimize production workflows and animation techniques. Previous roles include animatic and editing contributions at Cartoon Network and Imagi Studios, as well as FX and compositing supervision at IDT and Starz. Earlier career highlights include various positions at Warner Bros., where John worked on FX design and animation for feature films and commercials. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Loyola Marymount University, completed in 1989.
