Boyuan Xu

Boyuan (Roy) Xu is a Software Engineer at Imagination Technologies, where they implement OpenCL kernels for artificial neural network operations and contribute to the design of MLIR-based computing graph compilers. Prior to this role, Boyuan was a Game Developer from 2022 to 2023, creating a Unity 2D game and writing C# scripts for game objects. They also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, supporting students in Data Structures & Algorithms and Programming Paradigms. Boyuan holds a Master of Science in Data Science with Artificial Intelligence from the University of Exeter, completed in 2021.
