Brent Watson

Brent Watson serves as the Senior Director of External Reporting at Imagination Technologies since February 2023. Previously, Brent held the position of Director of Financial Policies and Accounting at Kaplan International Languages from September 2019 to November 2022, where efforts focused on the adoption of ASC 842 for lease agreements. Prior to that, Brent worked at Walgreens Boots Alliance from November 2013 to March 2019 as the US Technical Reporting Manager, developing accounting policies and overseeing key financial filings. Brent's career also includes a role as Group Finance Manager at Orient Express, where responsibilities included reviewing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS and implementing SOX controls. Early career experience includes a role as Senior Manager in Global IFRS and Offerings Services at Deloitte, providing audit support and ensuring compliance with SEC regulations. Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics-Accounting from Claremont McKenna College and an Associate of Arts from Mt. San Antonio College.
