Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with over a decade of expertise in developing collaborative educational solutions. Since July 2010, Chris has worked at SMART Technologies, contributing to the design of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at the same company, electronics contractor at MindFuel.ca, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibilities included circuit design and control systems development for the forestry industry. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, providing support in electronic circuits courses. Academically, Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
