Brian Canning serves as the SVP of Product Engineering at Imagine Learning, a position held since March 2025. Canning has extensive experience in leadership roles within the technology sector, including serving as CTO of Core Humanities at Weld North Education from January 2021 to March 2025 and CTO at StudySync from March 2014 to December 2020, where responsibilities included leading engineering and technology activities. Canning’s career also includes roles as VP of Engineering at TiVo, CTO at TRA Inc. prior to its acquisition by TiVo, and CTO/VP of Engineering at PhotoTLC, among others. Canning is a longstanding member of the New York CTO Club since July 2008, participating in a network of senior technologists to exchange ideas. Canning holds a BSCS in Computer Science from University College Cork, earned between 1986 and 1989.
