Patrick McDonnell is a highly experienced engineering leader with a career spanning over 15 years, the last 8 of which have been in leadership roles at the director level. Currently, they serve as the Director of Software Engineering at Imagine Learning, where they oversee strategic initiatives for K-12 education products. Previously, Patrick held key positions at Beamery, FreeAgent, and Findmypast, managing teams and driving innovative software solutions across various sectors. Patrick’s expertise includes engineering leadership, mentoring, and strategic planning, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and stakeholder engagement. They graduated with a 2:1 (Hons) BSc in Computer Science from The University of Stirling.
