Abdullah Khan

Abdullah Khan has work experience as a System Engineer at Imagine Software, now part of TS Imagine, from 2019 to the present. In this role, they are responsible for incident management, service management, and working on projects to support the application team and external clients. Abdullah collaborates with various teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Abdullah also serves as a Zabbix admin, configuring monitoring on new hosts, troubleshooting problems, and patching servers. Abdullah utilizes and develops Bash/Shell scripts and connects to servers remotely for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Additionally, they perform user management, sets up CRON jobs, and resolves security conflicts.

Before joining Imagine Software, Abdullah worked as a Linux System Administrator at Altice USA from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they provisioned servers, configured RAID and network cards, managed file system permissions and disk storage, and reduced storage costs through NFS server configuration. Abdullah also troubleshooted hardware, software, and network problems, maintained and updated Linux servers, setup and maintained domain name servers, and controlled and monitored network services. Abdullah also configured SAMBA drives, utilized logical volume manager, and resolved security-related incidents.

Abdullah Khan holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo. In April 2023, they obtained the Zabbix Certified Specialist (ZCS) certification from Zabbix.
