Yan E. Yanovskiy has an extensive education history. Yan E. obtained a Master of International Management with Distinguished Honors from Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2002, specializing in Global Development & Policy, Investment and Risk Management. In 2002, they also completed a Global Professional Master of Business Administration (GP-MBA) from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, with dual specializations in Finance and Global Management.

In 2000, Yanovskiy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration from Fordham University. Yan E. continued their education at Harvard Kennedy School in 2012, studying Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century. Additionally, they attended the Indian School of Business in the same year, focusing on Innovations and Lessons from Emerging Markets, with a South Asia perspective.

Yanovskiy further expanded their knowledge in various leadership and policy-related areas. In 2014, they attended the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, participating in the Oxford Module: Transformational Leadership. That same year, they completed a program on Leadership and Decision Making in the 21st Century at Yale University.

Yanovskiy also attended several short-term programs. In 2017, they studied Leadership, Policy Innovation, and Geopolitics in Asia Pacific at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Yan E. completed the Executive Program at Singularity University that same year.

Most recently, from 2013 to 2020, Yanovskiy attended the Harvard Business School, where they obtained a degree in the Owner/President Management Program (OPM47). In addition to their formal education, they hold certifications as a Singularity Executive Program participant (from a 2008-2019 cohort) from Singularity University and as a Notary Public in the State of New York, USA.
