Chuck Cook

Chuck Cook is an accomplished Contract Photographer and Picture Editor at USA TODAY Sports Images, with experience since September 2010 in capturing NCAA and professional sporting events and serving as a remote live editor. Concurrently, Chuck has acted as a News Content Adviser at The University of Southern Mississippi from September 2010 to June 2023, guiding student journalists in publishing news across various media platforms and teaching photojournalism and multimedia storytelling. Previously, from February 1983 to December 2009, Chuck worked as a Staff Photographer for The Times-Picayune, covering daily assignments for both print and online publication. Chuck holds a Master's of Science in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism, both from The University of Southern Mississippi.
