Thomas Ramsay has a diverse work experience in various industries. Thomas began their career in 2000 as a photographer, producer, and lecturer for the "Life on the Edge Nature Series" at The Image Center. Thomas worked on this project in collaboration with their wife, Nancy Goetzinger. They shared their nature photographs and stories through lectures, DVDs, email distribution, and their website.
In 2003, Ramsay joined Applied Visual Science, Inc. as the Chief Scientist/Director of Research for the Advanced Image Analysis Group. In 2014, Ramsay joined The Leesburg School of Photography at Photoworks as the Lead Photography Instructor. Thomas held this position for two years, until 2016.
