Mark Weir

Mark Weir has been working in the computer vision industry for over 10 years. Mark started out as a software engineer at Lytro Inc., where they eventually became the manager of the light-field playback and content delivery development team. In May 2018, Weir left Lytro to join Facebook's AR/VR Core Technologies group, where they worked on developing computer-vision based technologies for the next generation of AR and VR experiences. However, Weir only stayed at Facebook for less than a year, and in January 2019, they left to join Imagr as their VP of Engineering.

Mark Weir completed a Masters of Engineering in computer vision at The University of Auckland. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in information engineering at Massey University.

Their manager is William Chomley, Founder & CEO. Mark Weir works with Jared Rakich - Vice President Operations, John Manktelow - Chief Product Officer, and Nick Wilson - Chief Financial Officer.
