Baha Salah

Baha Salah has a diverse work experience in software engineering. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at SocialDice. During their time there, they were involved in the full life cycle of software development and redesigned and rebuilt backend technology, increasing code maintainability and reusability by 30%. Baha also integrated with boarding sites, automating publish job posts and receiving candidates that reduced 90% of human interaction. In 2017, they joined Imagry as a Senior Software Engineer, leading around 40 annotators distributed on four projects to deliver high quality data for researchers. Baha also supervised the hiring process for the annotation team and developed automated scripts for daily and time consuming tasks, which saved 80% of human time. Additionally, they modified an Android navigation app to communicate with PC apps via Bluetooth, collect data (navigation, GPS, sensors, weather) and upload to Google Drive. Baha also maintained scripts that helped in checking, analysing and preparing data. Baha also designed and developed a web data labelling platform for researchers and training models preparation.

Baha Salah received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Birzeit University between 2008 and 2013.
