Emil Sweid has worked in the software engineering industry since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Software Programmer at the University of Haifa, where they developed controllers to manage camera API, Arduino-controlled peripheral equipment, and updating Qt-based UI. Emil also maintained the development of the Arduino code and developed various scripts for automation of image analysis and decoding. In 2017, they joined InnoSphere as a Senior Software Development Engineer. In 2019, they joined Imagry as a Software Integration & Optimisation Engineer and a Software & Data Engineer. In their role as a Software & Data Engineer, Emil was responsible for data generation of detailed road topologies for training deep networks, utilizing Dijkstra and A*, developing and maintaining data annotation tools (Qt5, Python, Panda3D), and simulating varied road topologies, vehicles, and pedestrians for model testing and auxiliary data generation purposes (Python).
Emil Sweid attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015 and earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science.
