Amar Mohammed

Amar Mohammed has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amar started their career as an ISA Consultant at Nationwide Building Society, where they processed application forms and validated cheque payments. Amar then worked as a Sales Associate at Foot Locker, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and taking on additional responsibilities such as designing store layouts.

From there, Amar transitioned to the IT industry, joining Thirdline as a Solutions Specialist. In this role, they were involved in server, network, and wireless installations, as well as cloud infrastructure migrations and maintenance. Amar also contributed to the growth of the enviz group by achieving a 67% increase in clients.

Following their time at Thirdline, Amar worked as a Consultant at Seismi, implementing complex Oracle ERP solutions for large corporate clients. Amar implemented Oracle Data Relationship Management and Oracle Financial Data Quality Management, ensuring standardized views and business validation rules.

Amar then took on the role of Technical Support Engineer at Toponify, where they built a web application tool using JavaScript and various software languages. Amar further developed their skills as a Software Engineer at Raytheon, working on sensitive web applications within secure cloud infrastructures using the MERN stack.

After that, Amar joined [ui!]uk as a React Frontend Developer and contributed to building user interfaces. Amar then moved to The Travel Chapter as a Full-stack Developer, working with NextJS in React and engaging with both frontend and backend development.

Most recently, Amar has been working at iManage as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. Amar is part of a team building a sophisticated global application for the largest law firms. Amar'sresponsibilities include designing the frontend, creating reusable components, and developing unit and end-to-end tests using various technologies such as React, GraphQL, TypeScript, and Cypress.

Throughout their career, Amar has demonstrated strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Amar has also shown excellent project management and customer relationship building skills during their time as a Project Manager at Thirdline.

Amar Mohammed began their education in 2007 at New College, Swindon, where they pursued an apprenticeship in ITQ and obtained an NVQ degree. After completing their apprenticeship in 2009, they went on to attend the University of Gloucestershire from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems.

In 2017, Amar enrolled at Treehouse, where they pursued a Full Stack JavaScript degree in Computer Programming. Amar completed this program in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Amar has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they became Workflow Max Certified from WorkflowMax (A Xero Product) and also obtained Xero Certified from Xero. In 2021, Amar obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
