Gary Dungan

Gary Dungan has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Gary started their career as a System Test Engineer at AT&T, where they produced test plans and executed tests to ensure the stability of new features and software releases. Gary then served as a Customer Technical Support Advocate, developing implementation and deployment training for the corporate training organization and creating documentation for customer network service groups. After that, they became a Network Services Management Supervisor, leading a team responsible for project support and database provisioning methods.

Gary then worked at Lucent Technologies, where they served as a Systems Engineer and later as a Database Application and Interface Development Engineer. In these roles, they led implementation teams and authored data specification documents to translate system requirements into designs for relational database tables and user-interface tools. Gary also wrote software to implement relational database tables and user-interface tools.

Following that, Gary worked as a Systems Engineer and Web Application Development Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. In these positions, they developed Internet tools used by internal organizations and wrote scripts to parse information from documents and populate databases.

Before their current role, Gary worked as a Systems Engineer at Nokia, serving as the feature team leader and technical interface between customers and internal R&D organizations. Gary analyzed customer needs and proposed new feature concepts.

Currently, Gary is working at iManage as a Technical Solution Analyst. In this position, they collaborate with legal industry client stakeholders and internal teams to develop and deploy iManage Security, Risk and Governance product solutions. Gary customizes product baseline software using various programming languages and participates in client meetings to propose and review business solutions. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Technical Writer, where they wrote and maintained technical documentation to support the iManage product portfolio.

Gary Dungan has a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Instructional Technology - Management from Northern Illinois University. Gary obtained this degree from 1984 to 1986. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication Studies with a focus on Radio/TV/Film, also from Northern Illinois University, from 1981 to 1983.

In 1987, Gary attended North Central College, where they studied Computer Science from 1987 to 1990, although no degree is specified. Later, in 2000 and 2001, they pursued Computer Information Systems at the College of DuPage.

In terms of additional education, Gary has obtained certifications in "Inclusive Mindset" from LinkedIn in May 2022, and "Giving and Receiving Feedback" from LinkedIn in June 2019.
