Jeff Lafrate

Jeff LaFrate has an extensive work experience in the field of application security. Jeff is currently serving as the Director of Application Security at iManage since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Finastra, where they held the role of Director, Head of Product Security Assurance from February 2022 to March 2023, and as an Expert Security Development Engineer from July 2020 to February 2022. Before joining Finastra, Jeff worked as an Application Security Consultant at an unidentified company from January 2019 to June 2020. Their earlier roles include Application Security Program Manager at AAA National from April 2017 to June 2020, Application Development Manager from February 2013 to April 2017, and Sr. Systems Architect from January 2001 to April 2013.

Jeff LaFrate has a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the Florida Institute of Technology. Jeff also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in CSC from the University of Central Florida. In addition to their degrees, Jeff has obtained several certifications. Jeff is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) from EC-Council, achieved in January 2019. Jeff also holds a CCSP certification from (ISC)², earned in October 2018, and a CSSLP certification from ISC2, obtained in July 2018. Furthermore, they have a Network+ certification from CompTIA, acquired in January 2018. It is not specified whether Jeff holds a CISSP certification.
