Johnny Joyce

Johnny Joyce has a diverse work experience in various roles. Johnny worked as a Data Science Intern at iManage in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Teaching Assistant & Lecturer at the University of Illinois Chicago starting in 2020, where they taught Python programming and worked as an Algebra lecturer. Johnny was also a Machine Learning Intern at Clarix Imaging in 2022, where they developed and trained a deep learning model for medical operations. In 2018, they worked as a Science Educator & Performer at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, where they developed and performed shows and activities related to science, math, and computer science. Before that, Johnny worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Llywodraeth Cymru / Welsh Government in 2017 and as a Restaurant Supervisor at Lanes Hotel Brighton from 2013 to 2015.

Johnny Joyce has a strong education background in mathematics and computer science. Johnny started their education journey in 2015 at Cardiff University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a year abroad. In 2017, they had the opportunity to study as an undergraduate exchange student at the University of Illinois Chicago, focusing on Mathematics and Computer Science.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Johnny obtained a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southampton in 2020. Johnny further enhanced their knowledge and expertise by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago, starting in 2020 and expected to be completed by 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Johnny also holds a certification in "Introduction to Data Science in Python," which they obtained from Coursera in November 2018.
