Krystall Parrington

Krystall Parrington has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Krystall currently holds the position of Cloud Security Operations Engineer at iManage since June 2021. Prior to this, they were associated with SAP Fieldglass, where they worked in various roles, including Senior Security Operations Engineer from April 2019 to June 2021, Security Operations Analyst from April 2018 to April 2019, and Cybersecurity Intern from April 2016 to April 2018. Before joining SAP Fieldglass, Krystall worked as a Network and Security Lab Assistant at DePaul University from October 2015 to January 2018. In this role, they provided technical assistance to students, maintained lab equipment, and monitored network security using Splunk SIEM.

Krystall Parrington attended DePaul University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Assurance and Security Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Splunk Certified User 6.x certification from Splunk in 2018. In 2019, they acquired the GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certification from GIAC Certifications. In 2020, Krystall obtained the GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP) certification from GIAC Certifications, as well as completed the Splunk 7.x Fundamentals Part 1-3 course from Splunk. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the SANS 588 Cloud Penetration Testing certification from the SANS Institute.
